Requires:
Bachelors? Degree in Accounting
Professional, Eager to Learn, Team Oriented Personality
1 Year Accounting Experience, preferably working with invoices and purchase orders or 3 way matching
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Receiving vendor invoices and comparing to purchase orders for accuracy.
Verifying shipping information and merchandise has been received.
Working with buyers and account executives to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Providing purchasing department with information to assist in job reconciliation.
Invoicing clients on a timely basis.
Contacting vendors to obtain invoices for open purchase orders.
Professionally and effectively communicating with clients to resolve past due
A/R.
Documenting collection efforts and reporting internally.
Preparing weekly and monthly A/R reports.
Entering and posting journal entries.
Preparing documentation as needed for audits.
Assisting with special projects and/or other duties assigned by supervisor.
