The Registered Nurse uses critical thinking to integrate objective data gained through assessment of patient needs, identifies an appropriate nursing plan of care to promote best patient outcomes, and delivers personalized nursing care during episodes of acute and chronic health care needs. The registered nurse facilitates care delivery through interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, other healthcare professionals, hospital staff and community agencies. The registered nurse demonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills; well developed assessment, evaluation, planning and care implementation; organizational and delegation skills; commitment to safe and effective patient care delivery using research and best practice standards to provide high quality patient services; and commitment to professional growth and development. Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred. Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required. BLS Required.
