Our Financial Client in the Enfield, CT area is currently seeking a Project Technician. The Project Tech must assist in the research, update and maintenance of project plans, issues log, testing problem log.
Follow up/update other project documents such as risk assessment documents, communication plans, milestone documents, summarization of scope issues, project org charts, etc.
Provides calendar support, scheduling & managing logistics of meetings, prepares and distribute minutes.
Assists in development and distribution of status reports.
Runs project time tracking/costs reports.
Handles small project tasks and coordinates or performs activities as needed.
Facilitates all project logistical and facilities needs.
Troubleshoots issues with process, tools, reporting or other support aspects of the project. Identifies and pursues opportunities for increasing efficiency and/or service quality.
Requires extensive knowledge mastery of job functions or a specific skill.
Typically has at least 2-5 yrs of related experience.
Applies detailed knowledge of products, processes and people.
Regularly adapts current PC applications, procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet business needs.
Often participates in more complex projects or assignments.
Experience acting in a lead role and provide assistance or training to less experienced individuals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
