Our client has an immediate need for Data Analyst/Project Planner in Shelton, CT. The Data Analyst/Project Planner will support Will be supporting the Manager of Operations and Planning Job Scope: This role will provide administrative, analytical, technical and procedural support ensuring the International division within DSS meets the efficient execution of a broad scope of business activities including strategic business planning, process development and improvements, communications and messaging, reporting, and participates on special project teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the development of sales strategies working collaboratively with Regional Directors in support of P&L; growth targets.
Support P&Ls; to create business plans as it relates to tactical and strategic objectives.
Participate in decision making processes, strategies, and plans.
Act as a liaison between P&L;'s and all functional areas to obtain required data, coordinate various activities and programs, and ensure the timely completion of various assignments.
Responsible for the creation and quality of communications for all levels, internal and external.
Support ACE activity including the modification of processes and procedures to better align with team goals and objectives.
Support the acquired business process.
Develop monthly reporting requirements.
Assist with sales funnel accuracy/consolidation.
Work with BD leads to develop forecasts for Regional P&Ls.;
Track and follow-up on actions or issues while ensuring on-time completion and meeting quality, accuracy, and standard work/procedures are met.
Solid Analytical skills
Strong PowerPoint, and Excel skills including Pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc
Will be working with and updating data and information in the Clients Sales Force Automation system.
Sale force Experience would be a plus
Forecasting, Sales Strategy, P&L; growth targets
BA/BS degree w/5-7
years experience
MA/MS degree w/3-5
years experience
Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision is required.
Familiarity with aerospace industry and International Government relations preferred.
