Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented technology leader, with a heart-deep commitment to success, to be a part of our Solutions Delivery team. The Enterprise Architect is a technology leader and is responsible for overseeing the technology architecture for one or more delivery channels software products portfolio with a focus on consistency, reusability, and integration of a substantial product portfolio. Also responsible for producing solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications with expert attention to all architectural qualities in mind for various line-of-business applications. This role requires extensive experience in architecting and deploying web-based and web-enabled business applications, and must possess hands-on experience in deploying distributed architectures and platforms, creating benchmark tests, designing for scalability and performance, and implementing large-scale vendor systems.
Responsibilities:
Providing strategic, technical, and architectural leadership on a large portfolio of enterprise applications.
Managing a team of architects governing Solution Architecture Practice processes and guidelines.
Manage and mentor Application and Solution architects.
Review and approve application architectures, which define and outline the design constraints, UML models, quality attributes, and detailed design specifications, toward ensuring that architecture standards and best practices are followed and that the design aligns with the business objectives.
Define application technology strategy and maintain enterprise reference architecture, ensuring alignment with technology industry standards and business needs.
Provide governance toward ensuring the creation of project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, lead application technology procurement, and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design.
Applied research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations.
Advising and consulting leadership on technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements.
Working with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business / technology needs.
Provide expert knowledge of solution / application architecture, and consult with business and other technology teams.
Lead initiatives toward the continuous improvement of culture, technology, and processes to ensure alignment between business strategies and technology roadmaps.
Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.
Communicating implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to business and IT Leadership.
Providing expert knowledge of application architecture, and consulting with business and technology teams.
Participating, and technically leading when needed, production troubleshooting and War Room Activities.
Participating in technical design sessions led by Application Architects, when needed.
Reviewing and approving all application architecture for the channel is in line with DAS channel strategy, business strategy, and Enterprise Architecture.
Staying abreast of changes in vendor landscape, and providing guidance around DAS s long term vendor strategy Microsoft products.

Seeking and capitalizing on the opportunities to improve productivity, improve time-to-market, improve solutions quality, and improve cost effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
Proven track record of 10
years in web and distributed application implementation.

years in application/solution architecture experience.
A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experience and accomplishments
Mastery of the competencies associated with clear and effective communication, problem solving, relationship building, and strategic thinking.
Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), its principles, and patterns at enterprise level with a solid understanding of web service protocols and their appropriate implementations.
Experience in integrating custom applications with OpenText ECM Suite and/or OpenText Livelink is required.
SOAP and RESTful Web Services (Web API 2), MVC, OData, SQL Server, SSRS, MongoDB, Node.js
Experience with modern front-end technologies and approaches such as HTML5, CSS3, Angular.js, Bootstrap, Responsive Web Design (RWD), Graceful Degradation
Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
Experience in data modeling techniques with knowledge of performance optimization strategies.
Expertise in design/implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed and intranet/internet architecture.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of multi-tier and cross-platform architectures.
Experience with architecting enterprise solutions based on web services and modern UI technologies (Angular or Durandal).
Expertise in design/implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed and intranet/internet architecture.
Experience in developing of IT architecture plans and software development methodologies.
Adept negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.
Experience with Microsoft frameworks, with extensive knowledge of technical design patterns and anti-patterns.
Experience with SSO technologies such as ADFS
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives.
Desire to take the initiative, moving projects/ideas forward with clarity.
Leadership skills to lead cross-functional, geographically diverse teams towards common solutions.
Preferred:
iOS development or architecture experience
Messaging architectures (EAI)
Electronic commerce, B2B architectures.
Knowledge of the Agile methodology
4+1 and SDLC.
