The Wood River Refinery is located on the east side of the Mississippi River in Roxana, IL, about 15 miles northeast of St. Louis, MO. It is Phillips 66 largest refinery and operations are run 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Responsibilities may include:
Safety
o Display a strong safety ethic.
o Able to recognize safety hazards in an industrial work site.
o Have leadership ability to address and correct safety issues.
o Ability to work constructively with crafts to set safety expectations and then audit their performance to ensure they meet your expectations.
Member of the integrated operations team supporting an operating unit.
Lead area scheduling prioritization meetings that integrate the maintenance process with the operating unit. Lead the weekly schedule review meetings with the operating team.
Must learn to use and become proficient with the refinery scheduling program Engenium Workbench and with SAP.
Create weekly and daily work schedules using tasks developed by planners. Use priority lists provided by Operations and engineering discipline leads.
Build schedules around available craft hours so the daily schedules and next week's schedule are 100% loaded. Build schedules 2-3 weeks out or more that are 30-70% loaded.
Schedule work for Phillips 66 crafts and work for key contract maintenance crafts.
Ensure all crafts within your responsibility are fully loaded each day.
Incorporate preventative maintenance, equipment inspection, and other plannable tasks into the schedule several weeks ahead of time to ensure these key activities are completed on time.
Work closely with planners, area first line supervisors, operations, engineering discipline leads, and others to ensure the highest priority work is scheduled and that the jobs are ready to go to the field.
Communicate daily schedules and status of work to Operations.
Adjust schedules at the end of each day to reflect remaining work hours for each task that was not completed.
Incorporate break in activities or emergency work into the plan when needed.
Initiate the work order closure process when work is complete.
Ability to work extended hours, shifts and weekends as needed.
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
High School diploma or equivalent
3 or more years of experience in refining, manufacturing, or related environment
Preferred:
1 or more years of experience in a scheduler role
1 or more years of experience with Engenium Workbench schedule program or with another scheduling program
3 or more years of experience in Scheduling Maintenance or Construction work in an industrial plant or refinery preferred
3 or more years of experience with SAP
PC skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of P6 (Primavera) or Project Manager
Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
Strong Communications skills (verbal and written)
