Summary:
Responsible for monitoring arcade activities, including ordering and stocking arcade prizes, maintaining machines when the technician is absent, and maintaining an orderly environment for guests.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIIES:
Ensure safety and comfort of customers
Maintain stock level of prizes for premiums
Monitor arcade area to ensure compliance with age limits
Provide positive interaction with arcade guests
Assist in maintaining an clean and orderly arcade environment
Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale
Be a participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
Be proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required
One year experience working with children/youth preferred
Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
Knowledge of child/human development
Working knowledge of arcade games/machines maintenance
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills (including in volatile situations)
Basic computer skills
Self starter
Attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
