Description
This position has the overall responsibility for the design and development of Total Rewards programs, policies and processes within North America & Latin America for all the J&J businesses following global Total Rewards philosophy and strategies. This encompasses compensation, benefits, leaves and perquisite programs and policies. The position is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the Global Compensation Framework and similar globally initiated programs and policies in the countries within the region.
The scope of responsibilities of this position includes:
Define and develop strategies for the design, deployment and delivery of Total Rewards programs and processes for the regions of Latin America & North America. Oversee regional and country policy harmonization efforts related to Total Rewards and serve as ultimate policy approver/owner. Provide direction, requirements and governance oversight to HR Shared Services with respect to the execution of Total Rewards programs and processes .Provide input/feedback on systems technology to manage Total Rewards for the region, including interfaces with third-party vendors administering Benefits programs. Partner with the Regional Human Resources Vice Presidents to ensure Total Rewards strategies and deliverables in the region support the needs of the sectors and franchises. Work collaboratively with Global Human Resource Enterprise Standards & Productivity (ESP) team members at the global, regional and country level to design and implement the 'future-state' . Partner with the other Regional HR Leads (e.g., Employee Relations / Labor Relations, Recruiting / Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility) to ensure coordination of strategies, tactical and operational matters that impact Total Rewards areas. Manage a virtual team of Total Rewards Country Cluster Leads supporting the companies in the countries within the region, who partner with Country HRLTs to ensure that Total Rewards programs and policies at the company / country level are aligned with regional and global directions / parameters. Ensure adequate support of integration of acquisitions in the regions with respect to Total Rewards programs and policies. Create a sustainable network of high quality external consultants in the compensation and benefits to provide expertise and assistance on regional / country matters. Actively shape the external environment, to the extent possible, with regards to compensation and benefits issues (e.g., equity filing requirements, proposed taxation of benefits).
Qualifications
Education Minimum: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in business or Human Resources (Masters preferred - MBA, MA, MS). A minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience working with senior leaders, designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies and programs is required. Minimum of 5 years professional level supervisory experience is required. Experience in change leadership, building customer relationships / consulting skills, strategic insight, process and project management and organizational dynamics is required. International compensation expertise in a large, multinational publicly traded organization is required. Experience with design of benefits plans (retirement, healthcare, etc.).
The successful candidate will have well-developed business acumen, be a team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships in different cultures. He / she will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across multiple cultures in a highly-matrixed environment. He / she will be inventive and have proven abilities to manage processes within a highly decentralized environment.
Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred. Exposure to a Global HR Transformation project is desirable.
This position will require the incumbent to live within the region they support and travel approximately 30% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
