The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain FIRST CHOICE MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.
Welcome to the MWR outdoor recreation program which consists of Murphy's Meadow campground that is located on the edge of Brown lake. It has a coin operated laundry facility, playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court and 17 camper pads. This is the location of our annual fishing tournaments that are held beginning in April through September.
Equipment Issue at MCAAP offers our patrons an affordable place to rent a variety of equipment. We have almost everything from boating, camping (tent or trailer) and lawn and garden to flatbed trailers and BBQ grills. We are continually adding more items every day check back often or give us a call

Plans, schedules, organizes, implements, conducts, and evaluates selected Installation Outdoor Recreation programs
Partners with various wounded warrior programs such as Post Warrior Transition Unit (WTU), Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba (SUDS), Team River Runner, Project Healing Waters, Disabled Sports USA, and US Paralympics.
Develops annual Marketing Plan.
Prepares publicity requests to Marketing Division.
Purchases and safeguards program supplies and equipment.
Conducts inventory.
Coordinates with installation, county, and state officials on programs and information related to Outdoor Recreation and required licenses.
Develops a business plan for assigned programs.
Assists in the preparation and development of the annual budget and 5-year plan.
Monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with regulations.
Ensures proper procedures are used to ensure that no misappropriation of funds occurs and maintains effective internal controls.
Integrates risk management, and installation and organization safety program requirements into every day operations and activities.
Mentors college interns and CYS U Hired apprentices.
Performs the full range of supervisory duties over assigned recreation, administrative, and maintenance staff.
Applicants must:
Possess directly related work experience that included the goals, principles, method of techniques, of outdoor recreation and understanding the interests of individuals and groups.
Possess experience planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, institutional, or other recreational programs.
Possess work experience providing technical leadership over support staff in outdoor recreation programs.
Possess demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
There are no education requirements for this position.
