Job Description
This hourly position supports tasking in the Business Operations Center at the Wyle Aerospace Group headquarters located in Lexington Park, MD reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and/or negotiating contracts, subcontracts, team agreements and non-disclosure agreements terms and conditions. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching contractual/FAR issues and recommending appropriate guidance. The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting guidance relating to contract compliance and assisting in developing policies and procedures relating to contracts and subcontracts.
Education/
Experience: A bachelors degree in Business or Government with eight (8) years of contract management experience including reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions for contracts, subcontract agreements, teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements in the context of federal government contracting is required. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The selected candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, along with excellent writing skills. The selected candidate must be a self-starter and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The selected candidate much have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Responsiveness, flexibility and attention to detail are a must.
