We are currently seeking a talented individual to become an Staff Accountant. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Prepare accounting work papers and other supporting data in a concise, organized and referenced manner with proper audit trail documented
Research and gather accounting and analytical data that supports conclusions that are presented as final
Maintain confidentiality over all financial data
Complete assignments within the specified time limits with ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Review processes and recommend improvements related to internal controls and procedures
Recognize the applicability of certain data and information among departments and promote the exchange of these results between the departments
Communicate deviations to internal controls along with timeliness of required tasks to be completed
Develop processes and procedures for challenging the reasonableness of the daily accounting work in an efficient cost effective manner
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret various metrics, financial reports, and legal documents
Must have the ability to write reports
BS degree in Accounting. Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
Knowledge of office machines, equipment, tools, and computers.
While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The cast member is frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
