IHC Risk Solutions, a growing direct writer of Stop Loss Insurance and a member of The IHC Group is seeking individuals interested in starting a career in the Stop Loss Insurance Industry to fill a Claims Support position we are looking to fill in our Marlton, NJ location.
Claims Support
The incumbent is accountable for developing, coordinating and implementing a plan of action for incoming mail, effective and timely data entry and miscellaneous support duties to ensure the department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing and entering all incoming new claims, claim notifications and aggregate data into the David Young System received in the Stop Loss Claims Department. inbox via email and mail
Responsible for front end operations, other administrative tasks and some medical coding
Maintain and update filing, inventory and database systems in a paperless environment
Assist Claims Department in basic administrative functions, data entry and filing
Routine client contact includes simple policy interpretation and somewhat complex problem solutions.
Follow up with Manager and Senior Staff to obtain additional information to resolve customer inquiries
Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma or Associates degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an office setting or equivalent experience
Knowledge of common medical terminology is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cohesive team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong ability to pay attention to details
Experience with Excel and Word programs
Salary
