Position Description
AIG is seeking a Project Manager, EFT in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office. The right individual will support global finance process and technology programs for the Enterprise Financial Transformation (EFT) Group.
Responsibilities:
Ensure on-time, in-plan and in-quality delivery of Finance related programs and projects, as well as internal change initiatives, by leading, planning, controlling, and executing them.
Ensure alignment and commitment of all project stakeholders.
Ensure that all project work is planned and executed in a timely, efficient manner that follows established processes and procedures.
Analyze and manage project performance, budgets, schedules and issues.
Evaluate requirements to determine scope of work.
Develop and maintain detailed project plan, including budget and schedule.
Track and resolve project issues.
Review all project deliverables to ensure they meet or exceed performance standards and service level agreements.
Manage relationships with vendors and outside consultants.
Work with PPM to ensure project methodology is applied in managing projects consistently.
Provide leadership and managing day to day activities over a project to meet quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments.
Managing project expectations, scope, risk and changes; provide issue identifications and resolution with program managers, senior stakeholders; oversee development of work plans at the required level of detail which indicates the key dependencies, resources, and project time-frames.
Being accountable to program managers for continual tracking and analysis of project performance against the project management plan(s) to ensure successful delivery and execution; ensuring that the goals and objectives of the project are understood and agreed with sponsors; and for the continual assessment of resource displacement and reassignment based on work plan schedule(s).
Position Requirements
B.S. / B.A. degree is required. A CPM, PMP and/or CPA is preferred. Experience in the Insurance Industry and Finance is required. Knowledge of financial systems is preferred
5 or more years experience leading cross functional Finance projects; PM leadership experience is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple work streams within a project structure in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and communicate business needs for technical projects.
Strong execution and analytical skills; ability to influence change and drive results.
Experience in understanding and communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Ability to interact well with program leadership and senior management; strong presentation skills required.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
