Cyber Security SW Engineer 2, position in Bellevue, NE supporting DoD customer. Candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security requirements. Security engineering to support DCID 6/3, ICD 503, DIACAP, and NIST SP 800-53 requirements, security infrastructure, and participation in formal certification, test, and evaluation activities. Identify vulnerabilities and exploits and make recommendations to address deficient areas. Candidate must have experience in Certification & accreditation documentation (CTP, SSP, Security CONOP, Security Architecture, Privileged User's Guide (PUG), POA&M;, SRTM, ISA, RMM, etc) and would be required to develop these documents. Position will be within cross-functional Scrum team.
Basic
Qualifications:
BS degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and at least 2 years of experience in the software/information technology industry. An additional 4 years of experience may be traded for degree requirement.
Experience communicating with customers, other technical teams, proactively identify and resolve issues, collect and refine requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and coordinate a product strategy
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, security standards, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Understanding and ability to implement secure software development practices
Software development experience
Ability to implement security automation and run COTS tools to verify systems security posture
Ability to work on cross-function Scrum team focused on quality and capability delivery
U.S. Citizenship
DoD Secret security clearance eligible
Preferred
Qualifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
GIAC Secure Software Programmer-Java (GSSP-JAVA)
Security+
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming)
USSTRATCOM applications and integration of data services
Java EE development and administration
Experience with JavaScript
Test automation including JUnit
Continuous integration, Continuous Delivery, and test automation
Web services
Open Geospatial Consortium standards (WMS, WFS, KML)
Distributed version control (Git, Mercurial)
Relational databases (Oracle)
Experience with Adobe Flex, MXML, and ActionScript
Behavior-driven development (BDD) (Cucumber, FitNesse)
Atlassian toolset (Jira, Fisheye, Crucible, Confluence)
Authentication and single sign-on (Oracle Access Manager (OAM))

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
