Summary:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a manufacturing client in the Findlay, OH, area. This individual will be responsible for project deliverables, budgetary management, and timeline adherence for engineering and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop drawings, scopes of work, budgets and timelines to prepare projects for submittal
Source, negotiate and acquire quotes for budgetary needs; manage project budget tracking
Coordinate project review meetings to include setting them up, keeping meeting notes, and reporting out results to key stakeholders
Work cross-functionally to ensure projects meet the needs of all key internal and external stakeholders
Manage purchase orders related to capital projects
Assign and oversee projects that are delegated to either Project Engineers or Maintenance Managers to implement
Mentor and coach Project Engineers and Maintenance Managers with regard to proper Project Management Practices and the sharing of best practices across the organization
Travel to project sites on a regular basis to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and deliverables
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests as required to validate equipment purchases
Provide weekly reporting of all projects
Assist in business case development for all projects
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
5 to 7 years of relevant business experience in an engineering role
Background in project management, with projects in the range of $1-10M
Experience negotiating, preparing, and administering vendor agreements and contracts
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CMMS, and Project Management Principles
