Job Descriptions:
Kratos Defense & Rocket Support services is currently looking for an Electrician to support the NSWC/DD Railgun facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with engineers, supervisors and other managers on installations and changes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prepare in-house electrical estimates by performing research on parts, scope of work, materials and labor hours.
Also inspects,Also inspects, installs, modifies, tests and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Including repairs on manufactured units, industrial equipment or electronic controllers in a manufacturing setting.
Coordinate and schedule installation of electrical for manufactured unitsunits.
The use of power tools such as saws and drills along with hand tools such as conduit benders, wire strippers, screwdrivers and hacksaws as well as ohmmeters and voltmeters to test connections and make sure electrical system components are safe and compatible.
Required
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years' related experience
Active DoD Secret clearance
Strong work ethic: proactive self-starter, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Master electrician preferred but not required
