Provides design, programming, implementation, integration, project management, and commissioning of digital audio/digital video/digital control systems, digital signage for campus and satellite campus installations; this position makes technical judgments and recommendations in order to assure the integrity of the digital audio, digital video, communication systems, and signage systems, which are operated and maintained by IT Services Teaching and Learning; manages customer and vendor relationships with both in-sourced and outsourced AV services; handles competitive bidding process for IT Services Teaching and Learning AV/IT projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in electronics/media technologies, electrical engineering; three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in media systems installation, operation and maintenance; audio/video production and systems; electronic media communications systems and the operation of a media systems design, installation and repair facility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Experience with designing and maintaining drawings, diagrams, schematics, and construction specifications as well as negotiating experience in client and supplier management; experience operating within and improving best-practice processes based on ITIL, PMP, and/or Lean/Six-Sigma principles; ability to gather customer requirements and translate into project deliverables, then utilize project management experience to successfully deliver results; ability to utilize software tools for organization, including Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Project Server, and Computer Aided Design; AV programming certifications such as Crestron, Extron, or Biamp; excellent deductive reasoning skills; understanding and accepting of the commitment to support a mission critical service; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish complex tasks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
