Job Details:

The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for supporting patient care delivery by processing physician orders, maintaining patient records, managing patient information, scheduling, registration, and providing customer service. The individual has excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal).
Testing is required for this position in medical terminology, medical spelling and timed typing tests.
This is a part-time position (Four 12-hour shifts during a two week period) with benefits eligibility.
Education:
Minimum of high school graduate with training on personal computers (with different applications), general office equipment use and procedures. Course work in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Other Job Requirements:
Ability to type a minimum of 40-50 words per minute. Ability to operate computers and other equipment as specified, and troubleshoot as necessary. Must be able to send and receive e-mail to communicate with fellow Colleagues and employer. Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision. Must be able to work under pressure with time constraints. Reports to work on time, as scheduled, and is reliable with low absenteeism, low tardiness. Works all shifts, with varying hours and weekend and holiday rotations. This is subject to change as the needs of the departments change.
Essential Physical Requirments:Sitting/Standing/Walking: Constantly throughout work shift. Depending on assignment sustained, standing for up to 3 hours may be required. Lift/Carry: Frequently 1-5 lbs. Occasionally up to 30 lbs. Reaching: Frequent reaching. Continuous exposure to VDT screens.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
