Description: Integrated Science Solutions, Inc. We are currently recruiting for a Construction Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Richland, WA.
Duties: The Construction Maintenance Specialist will support various minor construction projects and upgrades with a focus in maintenance activities. Support construction managers and field work supervisors in a backup capacity and participate in all aspects of construction, plant maintenance, planning and field supervision.
Tasks including but not limited to the following:
-Actively support planning programs designed to protect employees against workplace hazards
-Prepare corrective maintenance work plans and work instructions
-Order material in support of corrective maintenance actions
-Document potential hazards/issues associated with proposed work
-Ensure hazard controls are identified and incorporated in the work plan
-Complete all permits and forms as necessary, and ensure all necessary forms, permits, drawings, and documents are present in the work package
-Identify recommended lock and tag boundaries
-Perform radiological evaluation
-Determine resource requirements to support corrective maintenance work
-Prepare work scheduling sequencing plan
-Review and track vendor submittals
-Additional activities as designated in construction and field work oversight
It is intended that this work will be performed on an as-needed basis. Support will be requested as needs are identified. Schedule of work will be mutually agreed upon.
It is essential that the applicant be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications: -B.S. in Technology specializing in Construction Management, Manufacturing or related field
-Knowledgeable of mechanical and electrical systems
- Hanford experience helpful
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel
-Minimum 1-2 years- experience
-Possess a strong customer service attitude and approach
-U.S. Citizen
