Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory and use of Group Policy
Microsoft management tools: SCM, SCCM, WSUS
Microsoft Services: AD, DNS, DHCP, ITS
Troubleshoot and configure desktop/server hardware
Troubleshoot and customize user GOTS/COTS software
Developed end user training guides and support documentation for other IT staff
Make hardware/software recommendations suitable for customer requirements
Experience basic knowledge of Cisco IOS and networking principles
Perform routine backups and restorations as necessary.
Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
Create scripts for automation and management of workstations and servers.
Coordinate and work with other team members.
Hardware consists of, but not limited to the following: SAN/NAS, server clusters, Windows and Linux raid, HP & Client Intel based platforms, and GIG-E networking technology accelerated video cards and display
Other Qualifications
Experience with Linux Servers (Red Hat) and/or Solaris 10
Must have good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and also have the ability to seek help or go to the next level of support if required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
