Sr. Programmer Analyst

SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST Duties: Under limited supervision, analyze, plan, design, develop and implement business computer systems applications. The Senior Programmer Analyst will work in support, construction, implementation and systems integration; in the analysis, design, development and preparation of program specifications; and in the architectural design, installation, configuration and project maintenance, which includes troubleshooting. The Senior Programmer Analyst reviews new designs, enhancements and programs with systems analysts and programming personnel for operating efficiencies. Provides technical assistance and information to other systems software, computer operations, programming and business unit personnel. Assists in training programming and user personnel in the use of software and related hardware facilities. Analyzes data and systems to apply fix procedures. Evaluates the performance of installed software by utilizing available aids to monitor trends, loads, and growth patterns. Possesses senior advanced knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the data and programming field. Programming skills in common languages and frameworks such as: .NET, J2EE, C /C++, HTML, JAVA, ASP, Sybase SQL Server, DB2 COBRA, Crystal Reports, Web Sphere, Struts, IBM RSA, IBM BPEL, IBM websphere, Mule, EJB, Apache AXIS, Spring, SOA, SOAP, WSDL, WSAD, XML, Informix, PowerBuilder, Peoplesoft, JAXB, WILY Introscope, GUI packages, Java and Web Applications, Data Stage and Mainframe, Unica Affinium, Oracle and Visual Basic Applications.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, CIS, Applications, Mathematics, or related background and minimum five (5) years progressive post bachelors work experience. Experience must include: Java / J2EE, Struts, Spring, Oracle / DB2 / SQL Server, PL/SQL and XML. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
40 hours per week. M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. $95,000/yr. Periodic travel to various unanticipated work locations may be required.
