An established and prominent local manufacturing company is in need of a cutting torch operators for one of its plants. This is a temp-hire position, with second and third shift shift available. Candidate will use torches to cut, contour, and bevel sheet metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using various torches, powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives.
This will require the candidate to make this cuts (and other assigned duties) at the pace required to meet or exceed company quota and in a safe and ergonomic manner. They will also be responsible for maintenance and accountability of assigned tools, as well as filling out detailed reports of daily production and any safety, production, maintenance, and environmental issues that arose during the day.
Requirements:
- Ability to accept supervision and work well within a team
- Punctuality and motivation, must have a desire to learn and succeed
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, and maneuver as required by the job, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Welding experience a plus but not required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
