Responsibilities for the Vice President of Engineering
Direct the planning and engineering work performed for transmission and distribution system including managing the permitting process. Responsible for the management and implementation of the company's DIMP,IMP, and corrosion protection function.
Ensure the appropriate records and documentation are gathered during construction and maintained within departments to comply with all state and federal rules and regulations.
Oversee the monitoring and testing of the T & D system for safe, efficient operation.
Direct engineering and construction work on transmission and distribution system necessary to meet the growing demand for natural gas and to assure the safety and reliability of the system.
Perform the lead role in the planning and management of major engineering and construction projects including transmission, distribution, and other natural gas delivery related projects.
Act as the Project Manager or Executive Sponsor of the projects and manage all aspects of the conceptual development, engineering design, construction and commercial operation of the projects.

Work closely with VP Finance/Accounting to effectively plan for looping, capital investment projects, contract sourcing and material procurement.
Requirements for the Vice President of Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MBA and PE Certification highly preferred.
Ten or more years experience in engineering management in the natural gas industry.
Experience managing multiple functions.
Large scale capital project management experience is critical.
Experience with federal and state compliance programs required.
Experience in developing strategic plans, assessing department processes and systems, and managing budgets.
Ability to manage change and build high performing teams.
Proven record of delivering high quality service and maintaining a safe working environment.
