ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to work out of our Manchester, CT office.
Responsibilities include:
Under general direction of Senior Project Managers, develop and conduct training sessions.
Perform facility and site surveys; conduct accident investigations; air quality investigation and monitoring; and develop written reports.
Perform multi-facet industrial hygiene services while building and developing relationships to grow the business
Conduct building code research and gather interpretations for application to client operations.
Act as on-site EHS Technical Staff providing a full suite of services to variety of clients
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or closely related field.
Requires at least 2 years of experience; with 4 years of related experience being preferred.
Computer proficiency, largely with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills including the ability to write reports and correspondence
Ability to analyze results in relation to design specifications and objectives; and prepare related reports
Candidates who are local to and familiar with the southern New England (CT, MA, RI) area will be given preference. Relocation assistance is not provided.
