Seeking qualified candidates for a Light Industrial-Line Technician position in Mishawaka, IN for a large company.
General
Responsibilities:
Operates semi-automated product assembly equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Provides the primary troubleshooting, repair and maintenance functions related to the Breeze 2 Reagent blister assembly / CP2 production lines and diagnostic test equipment. Monitoring of machine operations and product rejects is critical to maintain product quality and operational efficiency. Knowledge of mechanical systems including punch and forming dies, hydraulics, pneumatics, drive mechanisms, and timing devices is critical for troubleshooting and overall maintenance of production efficiencies. Sound technical judgment and cooperative teamwork with other technical specialists, operators and management are required.
Primary responsibility will be to perform the following routine duties:
Performs in-process quality related sampling and testing as outlined per procedures.
Observes machine operation and control screens to detect potential manufacturing problems. Monitors the yield and utilization and inspects scrap for potential problems. Makes necessary adjustments to ensure maximum product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Troubleshoots manufacturing systems and components including dies, pneumatics, hydraulics and basic electrical elements. Makes necessary repairs and adjustments by applying mechanical knowledge.
Completes repairs and adjustments by disassembling and reassembling equipment using all types of hand tools, hoists and rigging devices. May refer to mechanical prints and pictorial diagrams when making repairs. Reads measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and tape measures to .001 to ensure adjustments are accurate and within specifications.
Performs regular preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Rebuilds and reconditions equipment to ensure that replacements are readily available. Repairs and or fabricates replacement parts using machine tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.
Collaborates and works cooperatively with fellow machinist, operators, electricians, engineers and management personnel to ensure efficient operations. Participates in change-over and start-up procedures so that necessary specifications and calibrations are maintained.
Adheres to safety requirements including lock-out, tag-out procedures and remains alert to possible safety issues by frequent visual inspection of machine operation and the work environment. Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, neat and hazard free workspace. Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitary coverings (smock, hair net, etc.) to comply with health standards.
Exercises sound judgment and decision making when performing adjustments to manufacturing equipment. Uses available resources efficiently by knowing when to consult with electricians, engineers, etc. in order to troubleshoot and/or repair equipment. When manufacturing problem occur, works with maximum efficiency and urgency to restore the line to working order.
Documents repair processes and machine adjustments in specified logbooks to ensure compliance to GMP/FDA requirements and for future reference. Conveys status of operations and repairs to fellow machinist and management personnel on other shifts.
Start, run, and shutdown equipment when necessary to make adjustments and troubleshoot potential problems.
Participate in all TPM activities implemented to improve and maintain equipment efficiency.
Reports use of all maintenance and repair parts removed from the stockroom utilizing established protocols. Requisition equipment and parts not currently stocked need to complete assigned tasks. Identify and recommend critical spare parts for new or existing equipment.
Transport and supply raw materials, in-process materials to and from production areas as required, utilizing hand trucks and other available means.
Organize and cleans all related utensils and equipment per MOP's, PMP's, GMP's and SOP's.
Keep complete, accurate and legible written records, to Batch Records, in-process controls and records to ensure optimum performance in compliance with pertinent GMP's, PMP's and SOP's.
Assemble reagent sensor and related materials. Identify product via batch record identification.
Ensure proper batch numbers and expiration dates are printed on the product per SOP's.
Inspect and verify product integrity at various assembly and packaging states to ensure product quality.
Utilize automated data collection equipment. Report production, and product order tracking by use of bar code systems.
Follow all applicable procedures to reflect current operations.
Adhere to OSHA, GMP and ISO guidelines.
Perform other related duties as required.
Salary is based on experience and skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
