Facility /Risk & Safety Manager
is responsible for cultivating a safety conscious work environment and positively influencing safety practices among all employees. This position will oversee and manage the company's Facilities and Risk/Safety Program to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
Role Description:
Provides supervision and training of maintenance personnel; scheduling and the assignment of staff duties to include on call, weekend and holiday rotations.
Maintaining records/documents of work performed.
Establishes and maintains a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program.
Oversees and manages all on-site inspections, assisting inspectors and surveyors and provides reports as required in follow-up to surveys, inspections and audits.
Ensures that regular inspection of company buildings, grounds, and facilities are conducted in compliance with local codes, ordinances and safety regulations.
Directs new construction and renovation projects and work directly with state and local authorities to assure compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintaining fire alarm and sprinkler system records; ensures fire system inspections and testing is performed in compliance with local and state fire codes.
Ensures equipment and system inspections for safety and proper functioning are regularly conducted and documented as required. Conducts mock surveys and inspections as required.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive energy management program; negotiates with utilities and fuel oil companies for competitive pricing.
Assures ongoing development and implementation of Maintenances Department policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Implements and maintains quality control program as appropriate.
Performs new equipment and service coordination by evaluating purchases, storage, installation and initiation of new services/equipment
Prior experience in developing and implementing safety programs and effective training curriculum is required.
Directly responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the company safety program to ensure workplace safety for all employees, at all locations
Plan, organize, schedule and conduct assessments of branches, work areas and equipment; monitor site conditions, practices and procedures for compliance with health and safety (OSHA) requirements and Performance Contracting Group.
Research and become well-versed on emerging hazards/issues and communicate hazard control and loss information to management, supervision and employees through specialized training programs.
Must be able to influence and motivate employees, enforce company safety policies and procedures, and recommend corrective actions.
Must be available to respond to any emergency situations related to building safety.
Must be available and on call for safety emergencies.
Candidates will be proficient with computers and must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Project.
Training experience is preferred.

Coordinate housekeeping services (office space, restrooms etc.)
Coordinate electrical maintenance and repairs
Order (approved) non-standard supplies
Manage Safety & Security maintenance
Manage annual evacuation drills for each location
Administer security system
Coordinate mail services
Coordinate document destruction service
Maintain all facility related signage and postings
Requirements
Candidate should possess:
College Degree or equivalent. Prior experience in management or supervision preferred.
Ability to read and write English.
7 - 10 years related experience in maintenance, boiler plant, and HVAC equipment required.
OSHA Certified - preferred
Knowledge of local codes, ordinances and safety regulations
Knowledge of record keeping, cost estimating, energy management and conservation.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and diagrams.
Experience in managing programs in repair or new construction and/or installation.
Proficient computer skills.
Education
College Degree preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
