Information Technology Services (ITS) at Iowa State University is seeking to fill a full-time Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight of our comprehensive communications and marketing strategy.
This position serves as executive liaison to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) helping to advance Information Technology Services (ITS) and the university through effective, accurate, timely, and clear strategic communications. The Program Manager will serve as a media point person for the CIO and leadership within Information Technology Services, handling media inquiries, responding as appropriate, and briefing the CIO. Additional duties include design, development, coordination, and implementation of messaging strategies from the CIO to promote university policies and programs to both internal and external constituency groups; assisting the CIO and ITS in preparing strategic communications for key constituent groups, including correspondence, speeches, writings and presentations; communicating internally to create organizational clarity and externally to support the university's brand; and assisting the CIO with issues management and crisis communication. The Program manager will be responsible for supervising the ITS communications team.
The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will also have exceptional public relations, leadership, and oral, written and listening skills; strong organization and time management skills; excellent interpersonal skills; and the ability to work with a diverse population. Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience or Master's degree and three years of related experience or a Ph.D. or other doctoral/professional program and related experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
