SALES ANALYST
JOB
Summary:Sales Analysts will support the VP-Sales and is responsible for providing business support for sales organization. The Sales Analyst will assist in budgeting and forecasting, pricing analysis, customer and segment profitability, same-store sales, sales by major product group and other ad hoc analyses. This will require a seasoned professional that is data savvy and must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:Include the following:
Report and analyze financial and sales metrics, such as same-store sales, gross margins, sales to budget, etc.
Utilize the various business reports and metrics to evaluate, interpret, and provide critical information in support of sales decisions.
Analyze product price increase processes and provide support and analysis for sales and marketing related to customer price realization (i.e., measurement of periodic price increases and other pricing initiatives designed to enhance profitability).
Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Prepare analyses related to local compensation programs & various commission programs.
Work closely with the VP-Sales and Division finance support teams to better understand historical financial results, trends and validate forecast assumptions.
Perform extensive financial modeling in support of the Division.
Responsible for compliance of Company policies and procedures at the local level, evaluate and provide feedback for continuous improvement opportunities.
Assist in acquisition due diligence and integration.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
Five-plus years experience in financial or sales analysis in positions of increasing responsibility.
Experience in working with different departments and cross-functional teams, including people development skills and leadership qualities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and juggle between VP-Sales and sales group with demands.
Strong computer skills with expertise in excel and access and experience with SQL a plus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate while in an office setting, however, may be high while visiting production plants and branch locations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
