The Technology
Relationship Manager Role at Asurion is responsible for working closely with large
program and business product teams to support program vision of implementing
enterprise capabilities that meet the global needs of the company.
The
ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication and relationship building
skills to support the strategic initiatives within the program. This includes engaging business partners
across the Asurion organization, working closely with the program leadership in
both IT and the business to drive the program forward, and providing strong leadership
to the team(s) responsible for establishing and defining the features to be
delivered.
This
position is responsible for executing the roadmap for the program which will
include driving team results that deliver documented feature requirements for Asurion
products and capabilities, architectural dependencies/decisions and runway
needs, and technology dependencies such as infrastructure and operational
requirements.
A
key responsibility for the Relationship Manager is building and maintaining
strong relationships with the program stakeholders and business partners. This includes not only directly influencing
productive participation with the team and program; but also helping to forge
supportive relationships across the program teams.
The
candidate must have a background in agile methodologies and be comfortable
driving an agile approach. The candidate
also needs to have clear understanding of business architecture as a framework
for requirements and provide strong support for business architecture as a
practice.

Technical Skills
Solid understanding of Asurion business, product
roadmap and global direction or have strong background and experience in
similar industries such as telecommunications, insurance, customer
service/distribution center
Application development knowledge and experience in
managing software development projects.
Understanding of infrastructure technologies such as computing
(server, storage etc) desktop, networking, security, telephony.
Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies such
as Scrum, Large Scale Agile, etc.; defining requirements in the form of feature
stories and managing a prioritized backlog of features.
Solid understanding of business architecture
deliverables such as capability, product and process models.
Ability to drive priority, dependencies and critical
path determination.
Experience & Background
Minimum of 15 Years IT Program, Portfolio or
Relationship Management - managing complex, technology projects.
Experience with Relationship Management - managing
complex interdependencies and political situations
Experience with Agile methodologies and project
lifecycle
Master's Degree is a 'Plus'
Job: Information Systems / Information TechnologyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
