Job Description
The Director of Web Services is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the College s web presence and other centralized digital assets, including and other college-approved sites, online digital publications, centralized college blogs, college-approved apps, and social media sites. The Director must have expertise in content management systems (preferably Percussion), web project management, content, usability, SEO/SEM, architecture, development and design. S/he will be a seasoned manager who can effectively lead a web development team, manage a distributed governance structure, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Required Skills
Position requires bachelor's degree, plus three (3) or more years of professional experience in a web application development environment; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training; experience with Internet delivery of database applications and content using HTML, SQL, , CSS, XSL, XML, PHP, web graphics and design concepts and tools.
Ability to conceptualize, design, and organize high quality web sites to optimize performance.

years' experience with Content Management Systems; knowledge of Percussion preferred, CGI and Java desirable
Successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of web s culture; strong communication and project management skills; experience supporting Web operations; marketing experience is a plus.
Experience with active directory, SSL and key encryption, and Blackboard is highly desirable.
Candidate must be experienced and skilled in management and supervision of a technical team.
Candidate must have the ability to work productively in a collaborative environment, be service oriented, well organized, meet deadlines and be a team player.
Ability to translate technical terms for non-technical persons and provide end user training.
Excellent communications (written and oral), customer service and problem solving skills.
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience working on multiple concurrent tasks and projects, often under urgent time requirements

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
