Lead Product Development IT Engineer (US Citizens Only)
Description
Key Role:
Apply engineering and program management expertise to lead the development of new mobile, biometric, and forensic devices. Collaborate with experienced subject-matter experts, senior leadership, and other technical leaders to develop strategically important and highly innovative new mobile systems that can withstand rigorous scientific validation. Oversee all aspects of product development, including defining, creating, and managing a successful R&D, engineering, and delivery structure for full life cycle product development. Apply program management expertise to establish schedule, resource, cost, and risk plans, then proactively manage all program activities to successfully meet program objectives. Provide hands-on management of electrical, mechanical, software, scientific, fabrication, test, and other specialists and work with senior scientists or engineers to identify important R&D requirements and initiate, coordinate, and track innovative R&D performed by an elite team of scientists and engineers. Ensure critical program needs and requirements are identified and proactively addressed by coordinating and directing multi-geography resources. Develop, evaluate, and communicate ROI models to key stakeholders, develop product roadmaps, assist in standing up or costing appropriate life cycle management activities, produce high-quality solutions, recommendations, papers, and presentations for senior personnel and clients, and use excellent communication expertise to assist stakeholders or clients in understanding results.

3 years of experience with leading new product development of specialized hardware or software devices
3 years of experience with using program management expertise to define and successfully meet program objectives, including creating or meeting schedules, allocating resources, managing risk, creating spend plans, tracking program financials, and meeting reporting requirements
3 years of experience with hardware product engineering, including electronic system design, development, fabrication, production, and test
3 years of experience with leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams to successful development outcomes
Experience as a leader and key contributor in all aspects of the engineering life cycle from idea generation through production
Experience with senior technical or management stakeholders to conceive new product concepts, quantify ROI, and communicate plans
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BS degree

Experience with low-level or embedded software development for mobile platforms
Experience with mechanical packaging, design, or CAD or CAM tools
Experience with software development for Android mobile platforms-Experience with software reverse
Engineering:
Experience with developing innovative solutions in competitive markets-Experience with analyzing markets, identifying white space, and directing product development to meet or create market demand.
Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile operating systems-Secret clearance preferred-MS in EE, Computer Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Clearance:
