Description:
Performs sales, stocking and customer service functions for their retail store engaged primarily in selling donated merchandise.
Duties:
Operates cash register and related equipment in ringing up customer transactions, processing payments, and completing sales, in accordance with established guidelines. Stocks shelves, counters, tables, and clothing racks with merchandise in accordance with established guidelines. Cleans shelves, counters, racks or tables and clothing racks with merchandise in accordance with established guideline. Provides exemplary customer service to include assisting customers in locating requested merchandise and answering inquiries concerning store policies and procedures. Performs general janitorial duties and other tasks as may be assigned. Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Store Manager, Retail Director, or Vice President of Retail Operations.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred. Must have a pleasant personality and a well-groomed appearance. Must have general mathematical and accurate money counting ability. Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing. Physical Demands: Light to medium lifting, standing, stooping/bending, pulling, reaching, handling, talking, fingering, hearing, good eyesight and color vision.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
