Our client who is headquartered out of Ft Washington is seeking a Mobile Network Engineer for an immediate contract to hire opportunity.

100% Travel, Nationwide, is required for this position.

The primary function of the Wireless Network Engineer role is to provide technical expertise and knowledge to customer?s onsite. This individual will be required to: design, implement and maintain networks (primarily in wireless environments) and related mobile computing; participate in transition-to-support activities; perform ongoing support of customer networks including monitoring, troubleshooting and authoring related support documentation.

Essential job functions:
1. Responsible for performing site surveys, designing and configuring complex and diverse network platforms/topologies based on a comprehensive understanding of customer network requirements.
2. Make recommendations related to network architecture, evaluation of hardware/software products and problem resolution.
3. Develop technical procedures and set standards to support monitoring, troubleshooting, and network configuration activities.
4. Design, develop, and build handheld configurations and images for mobile computing such as handhelds, tablets, etc. based on customer application and security requirements.
5. Build process and procedure documentation supporting the development of the configuration and image builds along with directions for modifying and replicating the images for those tasked with supporting the devices post implementation.
6. Provide technical support by analyzing hardware and/or software data, identifying the root cause of the problem and developing/implementing relevant solutions.
7. Interact with customers on a daily basis both from a technical support and design/implementation perspective.
8. Must be able and willing to be on call, at times, after normal business hours for escalated issues.
9. Significant travel (80-90%) across the continental U.S. (and sometimes Canada and Mexico) to service customer and prospect locations.

Knowledge/Experience Required:
1. 7 to 10 years of networking experience with routers and switches inclusive of: installation, configuration, implementation, and support of complex WLAN/LAN/WAN environments.
2. Intimate knowledge and experience using tools such as AirMagnet and/or Ekahau.
3. Solid understanding of TCP/IP: IP addressing, subnetting, network address translation (NAT), Quality of Service (QoS), IPSec, SSL, FTP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, ICMP, etc.
4. Excellent working knowledge of various versions of Microsoft Windows Mobile in addition to device management tools such as SOTI, Avalanche, AirWatch, Mobile Iron, etc.
5. Exhibit significant experience configuring and creating images for mobile computing devices such as handhelds and mobile printers.
6. Solid understanding and experience with wireless network protocols.
7. Strong knowledge of: primary wireless/mobility devices from various manufacturers (Cisco, Motorola, Honeywell/Intermec, DTResearch, LXE, ); network maintenance processes and formal change management procedures
8. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server) is a plus.
9. Experience in high volume, 24x7 production environments is a plus.
Education and certifications:
1. Technical Degree or relevant Certification is a plus.
2. Achieved or working toward certifications such as CWNP, CCNA, CCNP, and/or CCDP are a plus.
3. Ability to travel inside and outside the US with necessary valid documentation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
