Presently the Judge Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a Fortune 100 food & beverage manufacturing client in NW Indiana. This is a highly progressive role with a clearly defined path into a future Plant Manager position. The company is in the early stages of a Lean implementation so previous experience with TPM, Six Sigma or other Lean methodology is preferred. This is a large scale manufacturing facility and previous large scale, broad scope departmental management experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Champion a safety culture and the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work related injuries
Drives maintenance excellence and drives a proactive maintenance culture encouraging front line ownership.
Implements standard operating procedures, safety, PM's and implement Lean methods
Works closely with the production team to insure equipment efficiency and minimize downtime
Help lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including the implementation of a Lean manufacturing environment
Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures
Schedule and supervise assigned staff
Requirements:
BS/BA required advanced degrees preferred

years of experience or progressive maintenance or engineering management
MUST HAVE FOOD MANUFACTURING, CPG OR RELATED EXPERIENCE
High speed manufacturing experience
Strong technical background
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience in large scale food processing, food service, bakery, pharmaceutical or any other fast-paced, automated facility
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong desire to coach and train others to improve performance
Salary: $130,000-$165,000
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
