Job Description:
You're organized, professional, and personable, with a will to win and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. In this position you will take on a field-based role while working as part of a campus team, spending 20% of your time inside the organization and 80% of your time outside, working independently to identify and develop employer relationships within the local community. You will serve as the key interface with employers, nurturing relationships to secure immediate, quality externships and in-field placements for our students and graduates. You will be responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals that adhere to our rigorous company standards and benchmarks. You will also have a chance to practice and develop your teamwork skills, working in collaboration with campus Career Services team members to meet the needs of employers, students, and graduates. Most importantly, you will be given an opportunity to use your strong drive and extraordinary communication skills to set our students up for success.
Job
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business relationships with employers, resulting in immediate externships and job opportunities
Identify sources for job leads, spending up to 80% of time prospecting, making cold calls, and managing accounts through sales calls and meetings
Manage and expand on-going employer relationships by conducting various touch points, including phone calls, emails, and site visits
Effectively manage pipeline of activities that lead to graduate employment
Serve as primary point of contact for all employer interactions
Effectively manage multiple accounts within the local area, soliciting quality job orders that achieve satisfactory conversion rates of open job opportunities to both interviews and placement of graduates
Verify employment records of graduates through phone calls and gathering required documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and within accreditation and company standards
Coordinate with Career Services team members to fill all open positions
Organize and participate in efforts to bring employers on campus for career fairs, employer advisory meetings, and other hiring events
Perform job duties according to and utilizing techniques outlined in our sales training program (Employer needs assessment, marketing presentation, etc.)
Secure referrals from existing employers and create new relationships with those employers for potential new accounts
Develop a comprehensive understanding of programmatic curriculum, requirements, related job activities, quality placements and job leads
Responsible for achieving weekly, monthly, and quarterly goal
Accurately track activities in company database in a timely manner
Develop a complete working knowledge of compliance with federal, state, accreditation, company, and any other regulatory agency policies
Perform all other duties as assigned
## Qualifications
Strong sales experience with track record of growing and managing a territory
B2B cold calling sales experience strongly preferred
Strong networking experience, including relationships with key contacts in a field relative to programs of study (e.g. Allied Health) preferred
Experience delivering presentations preferred
Passion for working with high needs students
Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize job leads with potential and existing employers
Ability to discuss detailed product information with clients/customers
Ability to perform a needs assessment with an employer
Ability to gain referrals from employers and network contacts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to influence and persuade
Time management and organization skills, including ability to balance competing priorities
Ability to work independently and manage own performance against defined goals and metrics to drive results
Track record of using creative and innovative ideas to solve problems preferred
Strong customer service capabilities
Ability to establish rapport, develop and maintain strong relationships
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team to achieve a goal
Active interest in community involvement opportunities, social responsibility, and/or service
Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
