We are looking for quick-thinking professionals with excellent communication skills and a results-oriented approach to making things happen. As a Field Admissions Representative you will conduct presentations that promote WyoTech within a given geographic territory in order to recruit prospective students. You will mentor and advise prospective students to help them identify their unique skills and interests. This position provides you the opportunity to demonstrate your positive attitude, motivation, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management skills, and your work ethic to follow through on our commitment to students and the organization.
Job Responsibilities
The majority of your time will be spent directly interacting with prospects and students, both in person and over the phone, using your outgoing personality and exceptional interpersonal skills to help prospective students pursue the education necessary to achieve their dreams. You will do this by:
Spending 75% or more of your time traveling within your assigned territory
Meeting with potential students through in-homes and visits to high schools
Explaining the program offerings and match WyoTech's benefits and advantages to the student's needs and desires
Networking with high school principals, counselors, and instructors
Conducting prepared presentations for high school students to generate interest and leads
Taking inquiry calls from all potential students interested in knowing and/or receiving information about the programs
Encouraging qualified prospects to schedule an appointment for an interview
Returning web inquiries and calls promptly to all potential students and provide them with accurate information about WyoTech programs
Making outbound phone calls to potential students who have expressed interest in the programs offered
Initiating unsolicited leads and generate new business
Following up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview
Following up with interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and dropped/cancelled students to resolve any issues or address concerns
Serving as a liaison between student and campus
Accurately accounting for all inquiries and the admissions activity associated with all inquiries
Completing daily and weekly activity reports
Ensuring that all pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Keeping all required reports current and accurate, including information stored in the system

## Qualifications
2-3 years customer service/sales experience
Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis, including evenings and weekends
Ability to travel 75% or more of the time
Reliable transportation and acceptable driving record
Excellent presentation skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
Demonstrated ability to fulfill key behaviors
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
Must be able to lift and maneuver 25-30 pounds.
Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason for all of the workday
Must be able to stand for long periods of time during presentation
Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
