Lead for Warehouse - Immediate Openings
Select Staffing
is currently seeking leads with at least 3 years of verifiable current job history. Qualified individuals will have the opportunity to be hired on by our clients. Pay Range - $12.00 - $15.00 Plus, Immediate Benefits, Bonuses & Performance Pay incentives.
Duties include;
Provide responsible supervision and control for their department/s activities.
Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers at all times.
Extremely detailed oriented; ability to deal with large sequence of numbers and paperwork.
This position calls for maximum flexibility - candidate must have the ability to be here early / late and on call.
Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers.
Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources.
Train new staff in assigned duties, or delegate training responsibility to other experienced staff.
Assess progress of trainees and add additional duties as appropriate.
Monitor quantity and quality of jobs being performed throughout the day, providing guidance and advice as necessary and report results to supervisor.
Communicate with Supervisor throughout the day regarding progress and any problems or issues.
Conduct regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess group's overall status; discuss ideas for improvement and inform staff of new developments.
Provide quality training and development activities of assigned staff.
Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies and discuss with Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum job requirements:
Must be able to provide job history and or resume.
Must have led a team of 6
in a warehouse environment
Must come dressed for a professional interview.
Must be able to work (1
st
or 2
nd
shift) Monday - Friday and be flexible to work Overtime
Must be willing to commit to perfect attendance.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must own and wear steel toed boots.
Must pass an extensive nation wide background check.
Must have valid drivers license
Must be able to lift 50
pounds.
Must pass up to a 10 panel clinical drug screen.
Logistics experience is a plus!
