General Description: Perform process and systems engineering on projects, proposals and studies under the supervision of an experienced engineer (s). Perform routine aspects of process and systems engineering with minimum rework and negligible supervision in areas of experience. Continues to learn basic process and systems engineering skills and the use of engineering tools to execute basic engineering packages. Performs, under direct supervision, fundamental process design calculations.
Requirements:
Minimum BSChE Minimum2 years experience as a junior process engineer Be familiar with and have moderate to advanced skill sets with computer software such as spread sheets and word processing Ability to travel on field assignments Demonstrate excellent communication skills Perform process design Prepare equipment and instrument data sheets Prepare piping and instrument flow diagrams Learn additional process design skills Knowledge of simulation software such as ProII or SimSciEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
