Position Description:
Large Ready Mix Producer with one of the largest central dispatch centers in the United States, has an immediate need for an Assistant Dispatch Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of the Dispatch Center's day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
Receive and manage daily customer orders for ready mix concrete materials.
Develop and schedule orders with respective plants/scales and participate in coordinating trucking delivery requirements with the transportation group.
Work closely with plant shipping operators to ensure that correct products and quantities are delivered in a timely manner relative to customer requirements.
Work closely with customer dispatch and field personnel with respect to order needs and issues with a focus on developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Develop daily customer order rundown.
Manage execution of customer orders daily.
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
3
years ready mix dispatch management experience.
Command Alkon Dispatch Systems experience.
GPS truck tracking.
Capable of leading 15 to 20 Dispatchers.
