Job Description:
Position purpose / scope: Clears and sets tables, maintains the cleanliness of the dining areas, stocks service areas, assists with guest satisfaction through Hospitality (smile-greeting-eye contact) and service, helps deliver food. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, and professional manner to insure guest satisfaction. Essential: o Clears and resets tables as quickly as possible o Checks each table for completeness of setting o Greets guests in a polite and friendly manner o Sweeps floors in dining room and service area o Requests non-alcoholic beverage orders from guests and delivers them o Delivers food to tables o Checks dining area, tables, and chairs for cleanliness o Maintains cleanliness and organization of bus stations and service areas o Stocks service stations throughout shift o Assembles and delivers room service orders (If under 21, does not deliver alcoholic beverage with room service) o Check stations for adequate stock of silverware, dishes, napkins, ice, condiments, (i.e., salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). o Assists in guest services as directed by Foods Server, if these activities do not conflict with basic functions. o Performs posted side work and other duties as directed by management o Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and co-workers o Picks up debris and cleans any spills or grease on the floor o Moves tables and chairs to accommodate various group sizes o Folds napkins and silverware roll ups o Polishes service ware o Cuts fruit garnishes for drinks o Shovels ice for service station o Refills non-alcoholic beverages o Empties ashtrays o Serves breads and butter (or other starter starches)
Job Requirements:
o Fluent in verbal and written English and able to communicate at a 10th grade level o If 21 years of age, possesses valid Techniques of Alcohol Management Card o Knows proper service of non-alcoholic beverages o Possesses valid Clark County Health Department Health Permit o Knows basic operational food service sanitation regulations o Possesses valid Sheriff's non-gaming card o Carries trays for service of food & beverage o Knows non-alcoholic beverage choices o Able to follow verbal and written instructions o Able to suggestive sell beverage choices o Must be 17 years of age o High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required o Knows restaurant specials, casino promotions and special events o Must have either 3 months experience working in a physically demanding, fast paced environment or extra-curricular environment o Repeatedly lifts and carries 50 lbs. o Occasionally lifts 100 lbs. o Pushes or pulls 150 lbs. o Stands unassisted for long periods of time o Walk unassisted at a fast pace for long periods of time o Bends, stoops and kneels o Balances service trays at shoulder level o Maintains a clean, sanitary and well groomed personal appearance o Shovels ice o Sweeps and mops floorsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
