POSITION
Summary:
Manages the creation and delivery of deliverables directly to customers, as well as providing leadership, assistance, and
advice to customers. Responsible for the overall program planning including budget, structure, schedule, and planning
staffing requirements with a major emphasis on client's business needs. Manage customer requirements while ensuring good
practices in standard methodologies and processes to deliver an integrated solution.
LEVEL OVERVIEW
The Analyst Level in the Program Management role provides overall project leadership and guidance, ensuring that
initiatives remain on schedule and within agreed parameters. The Analyst prepares status reports, assures timeline
compliance, and recommends alternative solutions. Provides direction to the project team members with appropriate
communications to the customer regarding the program.
The Analyst should have 3 or more years progressive experience in Program Management with an understanding of program
management methodologies.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or experience equivalent is required. Project Management Institute (PMI) education
and certification is a plus. Technical knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Leads programs specific to a particular industry or technology.
o Creates projects schedules utilizing planning and scheduling techniques focusing on costs, resources and duration of
tasks assigned to programs. Responsible for plan integration at the application level.
o Leads and facilitates meetings and presentations as required.
o Understands business justification and program prioritization and provides alternative solutions to the customer and
management.
o Monitors progress and quality of program ensuring that recommendations are sound.
o Provides input related to the program management to the program office.
o Implements program management practices that result in successful program delivery.
