Experience with CDH / HDP / Apache Hadoop distribution components and custom packages.
Experience with columnar DB solutions (e.g. Vertica, Cassandra, Greenplum) in cases where a columnar DB is best for data management.
Experience building Non-Relational data models on NoSQL DB and designing applications.
Strong Experience in building data pipelines and analysis tools using Java, Scala, Python.
Experience building large-scale server-side systems with distributed processing algorithms.
Good understanding of traditional EDW and data transfer between traditional EDW and hadoop eco-system
Experience in architecting and deploying highly scalable backend solutions. Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Castle Windsor, Ninject, StructureMap, etc.
Knowledge of Design Patterns, Agile software development methodologies, Extreme Programming including Pair ProgrammingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
