Description:
As a Business Objects developer, you will design and update Universes, provide consultation on report and dashboard development for our internal user community, and participate in a support rotation for responding to production issues.
Responsibilities:
Business Objects Universe and report design and development tasks. Assist customers with defining, documenting, designing and configuring reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot Business Objects Reporting issues. Aggressively work all issues through resolution.
Assist in the management of the Business Objects platform that includes: Web Intelligence, Designer, Query as a Web Service and Dashboard Manager, security model updates, user account provisioning.
Build Dashboards
Assist in upgrading Business Objects software version. Assist in the facilitation of end user testing as well as customer support in providing post-implementation support and maintenance.
Leverage industry best practices and methods. Write documentation to support the implementation of best practices. Ensure team documentation is up-to-date

Required Skills/
Experience:
Exceptional Customer Service skills required to delight the customer.
Senior Developer - Business Objects - Expert with solid 3
years experience. - Version Release 4.x - Creating Business Objects universes, and WebIntelligence reports. - Advanced Universe Development o Using aggregate aware, multi-source universes, contexts for multi subject Universes, use of derived tables, complex measure using functions, complex logical counts, and averages. - Advanced Report Development o Solid understanding of Webi. Need to create complex reports that could require multiple data providers. Drillable reports through hierarchies and by report link through hyperlinks. - BO Release 4.x administration o User/group security, application security, data row level security, scheduling and distribution strategies, and BI architecture knowledge (incl. maintenance and support).
Business/Data Analyst - 5
years in Reporting., Business Analysis or information technology consulting role.
Experience and advanced understanding of relational and data warehouse DBMS environment.
Strong database experience (incl. SQL, tuning, etc.), Oracle required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work well in a highly distributed team environment. Share technical knowledge with existing staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the business and technical communities.
Demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
Data modeling experience
Experience with other SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence applications (e.g., Lumira, Explorer, Mobile) is a plus
Experience with other reporting/analytical applications (esp. Hyperion, Cognos, OBIEE, etc.).
Experience with Business Objects SDK is a plus
Understanding of ETL processes and PL/SQLEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
