D&B offers exciting career opportunities and we are currently hiring a Analytic Consultant/Statistician for our Short Hills, NJ location.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Design and develop global analytic solutions / global statistical models to better leverage existing data assets under supervision from a senior modeler. Implementation of new, innovative data improvement models that drive improvement to accuracy and completeness of data. Analyze & interpret large amount of global data and collaborate with a senior modeler in articulating business insight from analysis.
Once assigned, work on projects adhering to deliverables in statement of work, maintaining timeline, and documenting progress. Communicate analytical results in terms that are meaningful to business leaders.
Work with external, third party and partner resources and internal cross-functional teams of highly skilled project and technical team members that support the ongoing data enhancement of D&B data and insight assets in order to achieve goals for database size, credit activity, and other desirable improvements.
Provide second-level analytic support for D&B Customers and Team members. Meet with Customers directly to help them gain the fullest benefit from D&Bs data and services as it relates to models used to improve data assets.
Stay informed and engage in brainstorming with other modelers about new business and academic analytic techniques.
Position Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 Years of D&B and/or relevant business or data experience.
Demonstrated excellent, interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with other D&B functions, partners, outsourcers and Customers. Communicate and educate D&B team members and Customers about the analytics used to support U.S. database and U.S. database enhancement processes to drive D&B team member and Customer confidence.
Masters degree in a quantitative / applied field mathematics, econometrics, economics, statistics, computer science- good academic credentials.
SAS programming skills.
Proven track record of independent thinking & innovative approaches to problem solving.
Ability to work in a team environment ability to brainstorm and exchange ideas.
