Software Quality Assurance Manager
Software Quality Assurance (QA) Managers with test Business Intelligence backgrounds are being sought. Previous QA experience is necessary and previous management experience is preferred. Furthermore, hands-on leadership, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills will all be required for the candidate to be successful. In addition to managing 3-4 teams, the individual will also be required to take part in QA tasks. A comprehensive list of responsibilities, qualifications and additional information are below.
Responsibilities include:
Manage multiple QA Leads and teams amounting to up to 40 people both directly and indirectly to complete software projects and tasks.
Help in hiring, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and counseling employees.
Communicate job expectations and review job contributions while enforcing policies and procedures.
Contribute in test planning activities including developing documentation and estimating testing needs and time-frames when appropriate
Updates job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management.
Ideal candidates would have many of the following:
Ability to manage a team at a high level yet also willing and able to contribute to all QA tasks on a lower, granular level
Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
Ability to write and understand test plans, test scripts, lead a team, and interface with end customer
Organizational skills andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
