Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid candidate to fill the role of a Laboratory Assistant for one of our growing clients in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full time, 40 hour a week position that includes a full competitive benefits package with things like PTO and healthcare coverage.
Job Description:
Chemical Lab maintenance of business, fab excursion and chemical characterization supports. We are looking for candidates with either a BSc or MSc in Chemistry and good at performing wet lab experiments & writing up lab reports.
Responsibilities:
The lab assistant will be mainly responsible for taking care of all the lab equipment and maintain the tidiness of the lab. Of course, she/he will be train to perform experiments after completing those daily MOB.
Activities may include glassware washing, weighing, measuring, and working with chemicals, MSDS maintenance, and associated documentation.
Additional Skills and or education:
- A college degree in Chemistry (or Biochemistry/Chemical Engineer with Chemistry minor), Masters of Science preferred.
- Strong interests to do wet lab projects and works. Good at analytical chemistry, running characterization tools (i.e. HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, MS) and writing lab reports.
- Willing to do lab MOB, i.e. Clean-up, waste disposal, ordering items.
