Schnabel Engineering, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Engineering Technician to join our office in Charlottesville, Virginia. Work assignments will often require travel to Schnabel's Richmond office.
Responsibilities include field testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt and masonry on construction sites.
Qualifications for the position include a high school degree and a valid driver's license. Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates must possess good oral, written, communication, and organizational skills, have an ability to perform rudimentary mathematic computations, and be attentive to detail. An interest in working outdoors on construction sites is also a must.
