MUST have experience as in Failure Analysis in the semiconductor industry. Die Level Analysis experience.
You will evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components, and systems to determine the cause of failure, including the verification of analog and digital performance. You will work with chip designers and test engineers to analyz4e device failures.
The successful candidate will possess a BSEE plus a minimum of 5 years' experience in VLSI semiconductor failure analysis. The following are also required:
Previous experience in Eeprom and microprocessor design, testing, or failure analysis.
Working knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, semiconductor physics and bipolar/CMOS, analog/power/mixed-mode IC design.
Working knowledge of necessary tools for semiconductor failure analysis, including Cadence, SEM, micro-prober, and various electrical test equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
