Position Description
The Director of Enterprise Systems is responsible for the architecture, development and ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Stericycle's global enterprise systems.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Manage key milestones and deliverables of day-to-day Development, Quality Assurance, Application Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Management and Database Administration.
Work with VP of Information Technology, senior management, key business users, and customers to translate short and long term business needs into workable enterprise system solutions that scale in a high-growth business environment.
Establish and manage a road map for continuous improvement of Stericycle's global enterprise architecture and overall development processes.
Set metrics that focus on the Enterprise Systems team on being even more responsive to customer needs, improving quality of software deployments, improving the efficiency of our employees, and increasing the stability and scalability of our Production systems.
Manage career development and training needs of the Enterprise Systems team to enable leaders to emerge to meet Stericycle's evolving business and IT needs.
Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Position Requirements
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or other related discipline or the equivalent in related work experience.
Ten or more years of IT Management experience, leading mid to large size teams in complex, fast-moving business environments to achieve measureable results.
Demonstrated expertise in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
Five or more years experience managing IS projects.
Demonstrated expertise in Stericycle's Enterprise Systems including: SteriWorks, Tower, QlikView and StARS is preferred.
Experience with the SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS) is required.
