The Quality Assurance Auditor shall be responsible for the independent surveillance program for TIMCO Line Care. The Quality Assurance Auditor is also responsible to receive and assist with Regulatory and customer aviation related surveillance activity.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Conduct routine facility audits and general surveillance to verify compliance with TIMCO, FAA, and customer approved/accepted policies and procedures. Identify system problems with respect to these policies and procedures.
2. Conduct audits and qualify vendors to ensure the vendor meets TIMCO and FAA quality standards.
3. Perform independent investigations into quality escapes on behalf of the organization.
4. Maintain adequate records of audit accomplishment, schedule for audit activity, discrepancies noted and corrective action taken.
5. Perform follow-up audits of corrective actions implemented to ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions.
6. Coordinate investigations and provide responses to customer and FAA noted findings.
7. Review and accept or reject corrective actions proposed by the organization in response to internal or external findings.
8. Authorized to act on behalf of the repair station with regards to approval of vendors and resolution of FAA/customer identified regulatory discrepancies.
9. Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within all guidelines of company, FAA, and customer policies, work rules, and regulations (ex. Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM), Airworthiness Agreements), etc.
10. Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the TIMCO Safety Manual ex. Confined Space, lock out-tag out (LOTO), etc.
11. Coordinate military surveillance activity with the organization.
MINIMUM:
1. FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
2. Must have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
3. Basic computer skills
4. A thorough understanding of FAR (14 CFR) parts 21, 43, 65, 91, 121, 125, 129, & 145.
5. Must have no travel restrictions
6. Must be able to work all shifts/days
7. Must possess a valid driver's license
8. Five (5) or more years of experience as an aircraft mechanic or inspector on transport category aircraft.
9. Able to work with minimal supervision
10. Language (read, write, and understand English)
11. Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility
PREFERRED:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Formal Quality Assurance training or certification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
